Today I have one good reason for you why you should support us when you want to support Haiti.
Important in helping is to do it the right way-in going over to Haiti I met people who are very poor, but so shining and happy for every little bit of help they get. It is important to support them in the right way! I learned that during my trip. It would not be right to bring them our lifestyle, we need to help them develope in their own way, and that is what Random Acts does in working together with wonderful people who are from Haiti, who live there or been there a lot and who can help us to see how our support needs to be to go the right direction. Random Acts brings real Hope to Haiti! Please support us in doing that! Thank you! Rea
SO HERE´ S MY STORY :
A lot changed since I went on my first trip to Jacmel, Haiti last year in june, but one thing will never change again-the love I have in my heart for this wonderful kids which I met over there!
Haiti is one of the poorest countries in the world, how the people in Jacmel have to live is something you can´t imagine over here. After the terrible earthquake two years ago, Haiti is still destroyed and many kids are orphans and live on the streets, some of them walk barefooted two hours one way every day to the place of a wonderful Haitian lady-Bonite, who feeds them and tries to give them as much love as possible. I had the luck to go over and meet this very sweet kids who are thankful for every little bit of help they get. And I met wonderful inspiring people like Bonite who give everything every day to help this kids gettin a chance in this world. To be able to feed more children and to give them a home, food and education we are raising money to finish building a community center, so that this kids don´t need to be sent out on the streets again. And like last year, I can go over and help with my own hands, if I make it to raise at least 5000,- Dollars Donations.
NOW IS THE TIME TO GO BACK!
The US Non-profit Oganization Random Acts will return to Jacmel this june and I am hoping to be back on the team!
Help us, donate and be a part of a wonderful project and make kids smile (which I promise you that you do!) - we together can give them a future!
You don´t need to sell your grandma (wait uhmm why not? :-) ) but every dollar counts. Please donate!
I am here to answer your questions!
Thank you friends!

RANDOM ACTS wrote -
Two years ago, after a destructive and devastating earthquake ravaged Haiti, Random Acts provided major funding for a journey to Jacmel to assist in rebuilding homes, communities and lives. During our initial visit, a dental clinic was reconstructed, an orphanage was refurbished and a carpentry school with 1600 donated tools was founded.
Later, in 2011, Misha Collins and the Random Acts team returned. This time, we were joined by a group of 22 enthusiastic volunteers. For the volunteers, work began before they arrived in Haiti. To secure their spot, each person expended vast amounts of energy and determination to raise at least $5000. What a great accomplishment! The monies raised from those donations, and donations from our amazing supporters, provided the tools and supplies used during our mission.
While there, the volunteers and staff opened their hearts and arms to demonstrate the true power of kindness. They worked in the fierce heat of the Haitian sun to aid in the construction of a multi-purpose community center; a facility that will provide shelter, as well as educate and feed homeless and orphaned children. Plus, our team members participated in creative and recreational activities with the children, such as arts, crafts and games.
But, our work isn’t done. That's why we're going back in 2012.
