On April 25th, a 7.8 earthquake hit Nepal near the capital city of Kathmandu. As Nepal suffers from its worst earthquake in more than 80 years, more than 5,000 people are confirmed to have died and over 10,000 have been injured. Reports continue to come in with increasing numbers of fatalities and mass destruction to infrastructure and homes. Aftershocks still shake the country and those who lost their homes are now vulnerable to the continued danger of these quakes. Basic necessities of livelihood are also at risk, including access to food, clean water, and sanitation.
To help Nepal, Horizon Media is fundraising to support the rebuilding effort through one of our partner organizations, All Hands Volunteers. Your generous donation to All Hands will go toward getting boots on the ground in Nepal, to allow them to do what they do best: help a community in dire need after a disaster.
