You have all seen the devastating pictures of the earthquake in Nepal on the news. HRDC and B&B has became a part of my life operating daily with the surgeons at these two hospitals. The dedication and passion encountered was incredible to see, and now even more than ever they are showing this as they are operating tirelessly through this tragedy around the clock. They are operating right now in tents in front of the hospital due to the aftershocks and they have asked for any and all help in order to provide supplies and staples such as food and blankets. Really everything is needed urgently!
Please help us raise money for the care of the victims of the earthquake. If any of you are looking to help, please consider giving to these two hospitals who are treating and caring for the victims and will continue to as they have for the past 20 years.
I have never met such a dedicated group of surgeonsnand they are doing everything they can now to help the victims of the earthquake with the very little they have. These are men and women that even before the earthquake had dedicated there lives to helping those people of nepal who were suffering, marginalized and need of surgical care. A note from Dr. Shrestha, one of the physicians this morning read, " It's such a chao[tic] situation here. Can't see the sufferings of people. It's really sad here. We are trying our best to help people. Anything here is helpful now.
Quake is I think bit stable but I think many more problems are yet to come"
They are in need of supplies and money to take in the large number of patients and families of patients. Dr. Banskota will be given all funds to be dispersed first for disaster relief efforts in the two hospitals. If you feel at all inclined, please help.
