House of Miles East St. Louis (HOME) is a non-profit 501(c)3 on a mission to restore the childhood home of musician extraordinaire, Miles Davis!
The property is located at 1701 Kansas Ave., East St. Louis, IL. It has been vacant for several years and is in need of extensive repair.
We feel with the renovation of this home, this will be a sanctioned place to socialize, tour, and develop artistic/cultural skills, which will be useful throughout many lives.
HOME is seeking assistance for material, labor, and/or financial assistance to help us solidify this project. Your tax-deductible donation will bring us closer to this goal!
We are in the process of completing Phase I of our restoration of HOME, which includes all interior and exterior restoration at the museum. Phase II will include restoration of the land and areas surrounding HOME. Ultimately, HOME’s footprint will include the museum, an academy, and an enrichment center housed in over 10,000 square feet in two buildings providing avenues of musical discovery to children and visitors of all ages including interactive exhibits, educational experiences, and innovative programs, both cultural and historical.
