BENEFITING: SEALNet, Inc.
We are facilitating a 2-week program that will gather 30 youth activists from overseas and from Vietnam to partner with people with disabilities in Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam) to write, sing, dance and use the arts to explore the changing perspectives about (dis)ability.
Moreover, we are going to have lectures/discussions on the legacy of war that concerns the Agent Orange victims in Vietnam. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Agent_Orange
We will also be organizing leadership workshops for Vietnamese students to inspire them to take the initiative and form their own post-SEALNet projects by the conclusion of Project Vietnam 2012.
