The person who created this page is probably preparing something riveting to post about everything they're doing to give back. We recommend you sit As in past years, I'm running the Pittsburgh Marathon this May. But this year is different because I’ll be running for a cause, which is the Human Engineering & Research Lab, HERL for short. Many of you know that running is a passion for me, what you may not know is why. My father broke his neck when I was two years old, and he's been in a wheelchair for most of my life. I've grown up knowing exactly what it's like to have a disability that truly limits you. Running has become a symbolic way for me to show gratitude for my ability to move on my own terms.
Please watch the video below to learn more about HERL and if you can, please donate to help improve the mobility and function of people with disabilities.at your computer and hit refresh over and over until their story goes live. You should also scroll down and see if they have a fundraiser going so you can support 'em.
