Hungerthon/Imagine There's No Hunger is an annual campaign organized by WhyHunger to make a difference in the lives of the 50 million Americans and nearly billion people worldwide for whom hunger is an everyday reality.
Founded in 1975 by Bill Ayres, Harry Chapin and Pete Fornatale, Hungerthon brings a month of exclusive online auctions, events, social media activation and broadcasts that culminate in a Radiothon – this year airing on Saturday December 8th and Wednesday December 12th on numerous satellite and tri-state area radio stations, including SiriusXM Satellite Radio; CBS Radio Group: Sports Radio 66 WFAN, WCBS Newsradio 880, 101.1 WCBS-FM and more. Hungerthon partners include Yoko Ono Lennon, Hard Rock International, Bruce Springsteen and you! Learn more at Hungerthon.org.
Will you help us make this year's Hungerthon the most successful one yet?
