EVENT DATE: Oct 18, 2015
Carnival Games * Live Music * Walk for Awareness
According to the US Census, between 2009-2013 25% of people in Baton Rouge were living below poverty level. Parents need a place to turn when their children are hungry and they have nothing to feed them. Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Baton Rouge, the Baton Rouge Food Bank, and Interfaith Federation of Baton Rouge are places for mothers, fathers, sisters, and brothers to go to find food and aid, and to learn the skills they need to help them become self-sufficient in the future. All of the money and donations raised for Food For All are shared among these organizations who help alleviate local poverty and hunger.
If you or your company would like to consider sponsoring the walk or providing supplies for the day of the walk, please contact Cecilia Weigel at firstname.lastname@example.org.
