Wendy Williams-Hunter, husband Kevin Hunter, and their son Lil Kev, will celebrate #GivingTuesday by hosting a holiday dinner for families residing in New Community’s transitional living facility called Harmony House. This will kick-off the Hunter Foundation Fund holiday food drive from December 1st thru the 18th.
New Community Corporation's transitional living facility, Harmony House is a 102-unit transitional living facility for families and includes an early learning center for young children (as seen in these photos) that helps families move from homelessness to permanent housing and from dependency to self- sufficiency.
The Hunter’s Holiday Dinner program is intended to empower homeless adults to continue striving for a better quality of life for themselves and their children. On Giving Tuesday, over 100 guests from Harmony House will receive a festive holiday dinner with all the trimmings and the children will receive a toy.
Donors are invited to participate by making a tax-deductible contribution, now thru December 18th, to the Hunter Foundation Fund at the Community Foundation of NJ. Funds collected will be used to support charities that serve meals through their food pantries or operate hunger relief programs.
