Aftermath of Hurricane Matthew Tapio-Haiti
October 11, 2016

I was born and raised in a remote village in Haiti called Chantal, a small peaceful community. After the hurricane Matthew, my family and I have received countless phone calls and texts from the villagers there requesting monetary help to buy food to feed their families. The church and school were destroyed, and as the people are farmers who live off their land, they are no longer capable of feeding themselves. With requests pouring in from my parents' respective villages in Cayes and from Chantal, the case has become much bigger then we can provide. The help you provide allows us to feed these 3 villages where humanitarian help will not likely reach as they are located in the mountains with little to no access to the main surrounding cities. Please donate generously and rest assured that your contributions will provide much needed assistance to these isolated communities. The money raised will help buy food for the families; purchase building materials for the school and church; buy and replant crops; and plant trees and vegetation.
