BENEFITING: Global Rescue Relief And Resilience Inc
Hurricane Matthew, one of the largest Atlantic tropical storms in nearly a decade, roared across the Caribbean leaving a path of destruction across Haiti on its slow march north through Cuba, the Bahamas, and eventually, the US Southeastern coast. Hundreds of thousands were displaced by the category-four storm, resulting in a great need for water, sanitation, hygiene, food, and housing support. Global Rescue, Relief & Resilience International (GR3) deployed Rapid Response Teams (RRT) to both Florida and Haiti. In Florida, GR3 delivered over one thousand boxes of donated McKee food products to the communities of Jacksonville and St Augustine, and shared supplies with the Mormon response team. Additionally donations have been distributed to local fire and law enforcement agencies. Dedicated and energized young people have been working to assist the victims of this disaster. Please donate to assist with transportation and housing for the relief workers and to provide supplies and food for the victims.
