Hustlers & Dreamers
Organized by: Kristopher Moats
Hustlers & Dreamers Clothing started as just an idea for some quick cash to invest in other ventures sometime in 2010 and eventually became a passion when the realization came that nothing would come easy; especially when trying to start a business with no prior experience on the proper way to do so. The thought of doing something half way right didn't set well with us and we took on the challenge of creating a brand with longevity instead of a here today but gone tomorrow business. Through trial and error we made a ton of progress, made a lot of connections, and also learned plenty of valuable information; however we always lacked the necessary capital to really take a step forward and start building on the foundation we set. Saving money isn’t always the easiest thing to do when you setbacks in your personal life occur and need your immediate attention. Despite those momentary hindrances we still are financing our start up through our own funds. As slow of a process as it is to build startup capital, we are still humble and respectful of the work that it takes to build your own company BUT with the support of anyone willing to help nourish our growth we could smooth out the transition of being employees to full time business owners. Our goal is $5,000 which we feel would cover all the minimum necessities to really get off the ground as a clothing company and help give us the exposure needed in order to flourish. But before I ask for anyones support I would like to explain the meaning behind our name to give a sense of what we represent and who we are. In life in order to be successful, we believe, one must possess two important qualities in order to reach their destiny; having the hustle and having the dream. A hustler will find a way to make things happen by any means necessary and a dreamer will have the vision to make impactful changes around the world. Carrying both of these qualities together there is no doubt success is imminent, however, separate they are useless. A hustler with no dream will do anything to get what they want with no end goal which could result in catastrophe and wasted potential. A dreamer with no hustle could have ideas that could change the world as we know it but is too lazy to follow through which also results in wasted potential. We embody the unification of these two elements coming together as one and will be working to display it through high quality materials and articulate, conceptual graphics that will force anyone who wears it to go out and take what’s theirs! Also it worthy to mention that one of our biggest defining moments of success will be the times where we can give back and support the surrounding communities to be Hustlers & Dreamers as well and be able to help give some less fortunate the means to do so. We appreciate any help and it is also worthy to note that we are able to raise the money through crowd funding, it will not define our success because as we have learned it takes a lot more than money and an idea to effectively start, run, and maintain a business. Thank you.
