I knew I needed to sell lots of cups of lemonade to make money, hmmm how do I make people thirsty so they'll buy more lemonade, I thought. Something salty! So I gave away free pretzels in order to sell more lemonade....ok, the logistics of running a successful business still needed to be worked out, but I was thinking the right way! I'm climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro in June 2017 to raise money for entrepreneurs possessing the desire to explore their ideas and launch businesses. Each quarter business curious candidates are vetted and upon acceptance join a rigorous 12 week bootcamp program at Rocky Mountain MicroFinance Institute, upon graduating they receive a loan up to $2,750. The philosophy of RMMFI: THE ROCKY MOUNTAIN MICROFINANCE INSTITUTE IS A COMMUNITY CREATING ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL MOBILITY IN PEOPLE'S LIVES THROUGH ENTREPRENEURSHIP. WE HELP CURIOUS PEOPLE TRANSFORM INTO SERIOUS ENTREPRENEURS THROUGH SKILL BUILDING, MENTORSHIP, AND MICRO-LENDING. When you support my Mt. Kilimanjaro climb, you support a future Denver entrepreneur! I Climb. We All Rise!
