BENEFITING: SPECIAL OLYMPICS WASHINGTON
EVENT DATE: Jun 18, 2017
Mother Teresa once said, “I alone cannot change the world, but I can cast a stone across the waters to create many ripples.”
While Eunice Kennedy-Shriver cast the first stone for the Special Olympics movement, there are many stones left ashore. Join me in casting this stone for Special Olympics of Washington. Together, let’s make some ripples!
On June 18, 2017 I will be running the Rock n’ Roll Marathon in Seattle, Washington in support of all of the amazing Special Olympics of Washington Athletes! I have set a fundraising goal of $5,000 for this event, or the equivalent of 1,111 non-fat, extra-whip mochas, 20 pairs of designer jeans, or a month’s rent for a 250 square foot “apartment” in Manhattan.
Yes, it’s a hefty goal for one person, but I know I’m not alone in this… I have YOU! With your support this goal can be met – or even exceeded!! Please consider making a tax-deductible donation to Special Olympics of WA in support of the 17,000 athletes that participate in their programs.
Stay tuned for updates and for some fun thank you levels for your contributions!
