By you helping us wiht your #SelflessSelfie, we have a chance to not only raise a ton of awareness but a chance to win that 100k and save these children who suffer from Sanfilippo Syndrome. This holiday season, give the gift of a chance at life!!!
This Giving Tuesday (November 29th) we are asking you to lend us your eyes and voice. With your help, we have a chance of winning $25,000 for the Cure Sanfilippo Foundation on #GivingTuesday and at the end of their Giving Tower campaign, we have a chance of walking away with $100,000!!! All of this money will go towards getting more treatment options up and running so we can hopefully find a cure for Sanfilippo Syndrome and give these children a chance at life!!
If you know/know of a child who has Sanfilippo syndrome and they have touched your heart, post a picture with a sign saying, “I see (the child’s name/team name) and the #CureSanfilippo. Post it to social media with the #CureSanfilippo and website CureMPS3.com By you taking these pictures, you are letting us know you see our child’s pain, suffering, daily struggles and a need for a cure immediately.
This year, the Cure Sanfilippo Foundation was given the amazing opportunity to join in on the giving tower challenge hosted by CrowdRise. From November 22nd until January 5th we have an opportunity to raise a ton of awareness for Sanfilippo syndrome; a rapidly degenerative and terminal disease in children. While raising awareness, we are also trying to raise funds to get more treatment options up and running to hopefully find a cure for this murderous disease and give these children a chance at life! The top five charities walk away with up to 100k!!
We are hoping that with your help, we will generate a lot of curiosity of what Sanfilippo Syndrome is. With this, we will be able to educate many people on what this disease is, early signs, and possibly even help children who may currently be misdiagnosed. Many times Sanfilippo Syndrome goes misdiagnosed as autism since they have many of the same early symptoms. However, with Sanfilippo Syndrome our children are lucky if they reach their mid-to-late teens. On average at five years old, many of these children loose their speech. Each day these children are a day closer to loosing valuable milestones/skills such as talking, walking, hearing, and brain development, and a day closer to their untimely deaths.
Please, starting on November 22nd, help by giving the gift of happiness, love, and life (#gghll) by joining our “I see” movement and post your pictures to social media.
