The Ian Smith Foundation was established in 2005 by Ian Smith. Smith, sitting in a computer lab at Purdue University in June of 2005 decided it was time to give back to his community back home in Indianapolis. Smith set out to build a foundation that would provide financial help to aspiring youth looking to pursue higher educatiton. Smith called a few fellow classmates from high school and asled if they would like to get on board to empowering future generations...they agreed.
12 years later, our impact on the youth of Indianapolis has been insurmountable. We have developed several programs to directly help students get on a pathway to higher education. Our programs include:
Tutoring and Mentoring
Annual Youth Summits
Thanksgiving & Christmas Initiatives
Summer Bonanza Enrichment Camp
