Overview:

Your donations will be turned into a tax deductible research contributions to  the "Stony Brook Foundation" to support research on Iraq Afghanistan War Lung Injury (IAW-LI) in the Laboratory of Dr. Anthony Szema in order to match the challenge grant from the Sergeant Sullivan Foundation.

Our research goals are to understand the physiological effects of inhalational dust exposures for more effective diagnosis and treatment of deployment lung injuries by investigating the genetic and inflammatory changes found in the organs of mice.
