Our fundraiser supports the work we do! Join our gala soiree November 7th 5-8 pm in the evening for a night of gourmet homemade cuisine, wine, music, dancing and art making! Music by Elephant Gerald and the KIssingers, ATS and the Beatless. The ones in the cheaper seats can clap your hands, if the rest of you will just rattle your jewlery...Any amount you give will help us support our cause!

The Irma Freeman Center for Imagination is an arts and green energy community center with a mission to enrich and diversify the local community by building positive experiences in a multicultural, progressive setting. We use art, including the work of Irma Freeman, to nurture the imagination. By instilling confidence through creativity and a knowledge of sustainable living, we strive to make the world a better place.

Every penny we raise will go directly into our adult and children programing, and to subsidize inexpensive and unique space for innovative community projects. We host a myriad of events ranging from puppet shows, variety shows, plays, festivals, musical concerts, dance and performance art to multimedia art exhibitions.  Our programs include people of all ages, creeds, nationalities and economic incomes. We use recycled and reusable materials and resources whenever possible for our arts and green energy camps to promote visionary creative project outcomes for the individual, and for the community as a whole.

We are a Pittsburgh based organization providing an interdisciplinary and multicultural arts and educational forum. We represent local and global artists and performers, as well as neighborhood and regional IF maker scholars. We support diverse and original projects and programs while we maintain competitive artist teacher pay, great teacher-student ratios, and high quality services. With this fundraiser we are asking you to help us continue to provide affordable venues for creative community ventures, low tuition, and scholarships for classes and camps.
