IGA Nephropathy is a Chronic Kidney disease that is the most common undetected kidney disease resulting in end-case renal failure. Our son Auguste was diagnosed with this disease in July of 2009, he was in renal failure on his 10th Birthday. The disease is rare and relatively unknown - meaning it receives little financial support to find a cure.
Those that know our son, Auguste, know what a great kid he is. Those that know him well, know how hard he has fought to beat this disease. He has never asked "Why me" or allowed the disease to define him. 7 years into this and he is a normal Junior in High School playing competitive tennis and getting perfect marks in school. He, his sisters and Bridget and I are determined to beat this and find a cure so no other family has to endure what Auguste as gone through.
We are asking for your financial support, please donate what you feel comfortable knowing all funding goes to the foundation that studies the disease and WILL find a cure. Your support means so much to us.
