Organized by: Tracy Jacobs
We are raising money to have the Oak tree by # 5's green carved into a totem in the shape of the "Illahe Man". The tree was 250 years old and fell during a storm this winter.
Help preserve a piece of Illahe history for generations to come. What a great way to showcase our signature hole and commemorate the life of the tree that stood by the site of the 5th green for 250 years !!
What will the totem look like?
It will be a 10’ tall replica of the Illahe Man carved from the main trunk of the fallen tree. Scroll through the pictures to see what the totem will look like and the tree trunk that will be used to create the totem.
Who will be carving the totem?
Oregon chainsaw sculptures
What is the cost to have the totem carved?
$3,500 – we are asking for donations totaling $3,700, the extra $200 will cover the fee charged by the website for hosting our project and accounting for donations.
