BENEFITING: The Kilgoris Project
I’m flipping things around in 2016 - I'm giving away my birthday this year! I'm asking each of you to give $44 to help support the work happening at The Kilgoris Project. So I'm here in Cornelius, NC drinking clean water and very thankful that my kids have an amazing school to attend locally. My daughter does not have to wake up at dawn to collect water and firewood before preparing for school. My son does not have to prepare to walk the multi mile round trip to and from school daily. We make lunches of yogurt, sandwiches, and goldfish. Certainly not just the beans and simple fruit or vegetables that most kids in Africa get. My family is very blessed! So this year I would like to give away my birthday because I need nothing. I know that 800 million people daily go without clean water. Just as many lack access to a quality education. Hope and opportunity for careers are not possible for the majority in eastern Africa. But the amazing people at The Kilgoris Project are working hard to change that. Be part of the next step in changing one town in rural southwest Kenya. Would you please click on the link and give $44 for my 44th birthday? This will be about the cost of a Sunday lunch but the benefits will last far longer. You can certainly give more or less – every penny will help.
