BENEFITING: College Bound, Inc.
EVENT DATE: Mar 22, 2016
This year, IMPAQ’s goal is to raise $1500 in scholarships for College Bound in a company-wide game of Jeopardy. To participate in the Jeopardy game, just donate $10 to this Crowd Rise fundraiser. Feel free to donate more, if you can! This page will be up until March 25th.
Questions in the Jeopardy game are about IMPAQ staff, the company itself, the founders, and offices. For example, Which DC staffer wore a kilt at their wedding? And Which VP is a black belt in karate? Ashley Valentine will be your host.
College Bound is a College Bound a Washington, D.C. based, non-profit organization. The program is offered to public and public charter school students in grades 8-12 as an academic enrichment and resources to prepare students to succeed in college. Founded in 1991, the organization offers tutoring, mentoring, ACT/SAT preparation, scholarships and academic and career guidance free-of-charge to assist students in the District of Columbia metropolitan area in meeting their post-secondary educational goals. Each year, College Bound gives scholarships to its students who apply. The scholarships are distributed to the students in the 11th and 12th over the course of their time in college. Many of the scholarships afford the students a chance to attend college without creating financial burden for them.
