On March 11, 2016, my dad, Hi-Kyung Chae passed away rather unexpectedly. He was 76. He was much loved and respected by me, my brother, Brian, my mother, Inja, and son-in-law Paul among many many others. He was able to witness the birth of his first granddaughter Evon and hold her in his arms. No words can describe how much we will miss him.
We would like Dad to also be remembered, through a dedicated act of volunteerism. My Dad was a huge fan of Paul's adventure travel company and wanted to go on one of the expeditions - but we both knew such a rigorous travel would not be realistic.
Please consider making a donation, in lieu of flowers, in my father's name here to fund a sustainable volunteer project such as a playground, clean-water system or other future project, to be built by Roadmonkey Foundation (my husband Paul's 501c3 organization), to directly benefit an overseas community in real need.
All donations will be acknowledged by me or my family members, and once the volunteer project is created and built we will share the proof, in photos and words, with you.
THANK YOU FOR MAKING A DONATION! Regardless of amount, it is greatly appreciated. Roadmonkey Foundation is a IRS-registered, 501c3 organization. Tax ID 45-4648675
