BENEFITING: American Cancer Society
At 32-years-old, my brother-in-law, Josh Ayres, found eternal peace after a 5-year battle with glioblastoma multiforme (GBM). GBM is the most aggressive brain tumor that anyone can endure, and Josh endured it with grace. Surgeries, radiation, chemotherapy, experimental trials, Josh did it all without complaining. He was more concerned about those around him in making sure they were okay even if he wasn't.
Josh's passing, like other cancer patients, was bittersweet as he passed just two days after his daughter's 8th birthday. Although Josh's fight ended in 2010 it is my hope that funds can be raised for research so we can hear the stories of cancer survivors.
Please join me by donating whatever you can to the American Cancer Society in memory of Josh Ayres. He is never far from our thoughts and is always in our hearts. My hope is to keep loved ones here with us at arms length.
