EVENT DATE: Mar 18, 2012

THE STORY:

A letter to my (ex) co-workers: I am running the NYC half marathon in a couple of weeks and have a chance to raise money for charity while I do it. I chose to raise money for team continuum (http://www.teamcontinuum.net/) who raises money for families affected by cancer. Obviously Margaret is and has been on my mind since her passing. And her death coincided closely with my entry into this race. Being so far away, I knew I wanted to do something especially since I wasn't able to come back and be at her funeral. So being a runner, I want to run this race in her honor while raising money for cancer. It has affected our school family twice in the 5 years I worked there, which is two too many. It has also affected my mom, my friends, friends family members, my family, my husbands family and I'm sure all of you. Anyway, this is my little way to give back and to honor my friend Margaret. Please visit my page and donate if you are able. Thanks in advance, Inshirah http://www.crowdrise.com/inchduwors
