Hi, Im Ryan a 19 student heading off to University to begin a new chapter in my life becoming an Industrial/Product designer. For those of you who don't know industrial designers are pretty much the backbone of the design world. They think up design, engineer and build most all of the products we use every day. From the computer you're using now, to your cell phone, even your toaster and your silverware. Someone has to create all the things we use everyday, I want to be one of them. Some industrial designers take things that already exist and make them better, in other words re-inventors. One of the best designers I look up to is Mr. Jonathan Ive (lead designer for Apple) he has inspired and helped create some of Apple's best products from the new MacBook Pro to the Iphone 5. It takes more than just an eye for design to be an Industrial designer though, they need a broad spectrum of skills from, Computer Aided Drafting, materials & process sciences, fabrication technology, human interactive science, and many more all make up the portfolio of skills I will need to be a successful designer to make the technology and products of tomorrow. But these skills aren't free and require lots of intense schooling to acquire, and I can't do it on my own, so Im asking you to reach out and help me along the way. Anything you donate will go directly to funding my College Degree. Ill be attending the Art Institute of Portland Oregon starting sept. 30th
