BENEFITING: INFLAMMATORY BREAST CANCER RESEARCH FOUNDATION
Currently, with research and new treatments, survival has grown to over 40%. IBC is very difficult to diagnose and often goes undetected by mammograms. IBC has a higher incidence among younger and African Americans patients.
My dear friend Jose "Ollie" Oliveras is dedicating his next event, the Prospect Park International Distance Run in Brooklyn, New York (http://www.trifind.com/re_33194/ProspectParkFallDuathlon.html) to raising funds for the Inflammatory Breast Cancer Research Foundation. IBC is working very hard to find the cause through tissue typing and cutting edge research. Please donate through this page or through IBC's website at http://www.ibcresearch.org/store/ or by the Facebook Page http://www.causes.com/profiles/120488768
Ollie is a wonderful friend I met a few years ago at Burning Man. This past summer, Olie trained for this event in the Black Rock City in the Nevada desert. Many days he ran 12+ miles in heat well over 90 degrees. Please support Ollie in making a difference. Thanks and stay blessed by The Best!!!!! Keep on shining Ollie and all of you.
