BENEFITING: Rain Ross Dance
EVENT DATE: Sep 12, 2015
Rain Ross Dance has been collaborating with Nadra Assaf from Lebanon. In the newest rendition of this collaborative experience, the two choreographers expand their earlier work, looking at interactions between cultures and how cross-cultural experiences feed our understanding of ourselves. Choreography by Nadra Assaf (Lebanon) and Rain Ross (USA), with music composed by Majd Alalam (Lebanon). Performers are from Lebanon and the U.S.
This project has been selected to be part of the Between The Seas Festival, which takes place in New York from Sept. 8-13. We are performing at The Wild Project on Saturday, Sept. 12 and Sunday, Sept. 13.
As part of this project, there is travel, rehearsal space, costumes, etc to be covered. We have received most of the support needed for this project, and are looking for some additional support to cover the costs of presenting such a global choreographic work. Specifically, we are hoping to get support for the costumes for the twelve performers and for the rehearsal space in New York, which comes to $500. Please help support this project!
Rain Ross Dance is a 501(c)(3) organization, and all donations are tax-deductible.
