I am going to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro this July with one of the most inspirational women I know Cecile Raubenheimer. She's organized a group of 67 badass entrepreneurs to climb and summit Mt. Kilimanjaro on Nelson Mandela International Day to celebrate his 67 years fighting for human rights and raise $67,000 for girls in South Africa. It's organized by the Nelson Mandela Foundation.
The purpose of the expedition is to raise funds and create awareness about challenges facing impoverished girls in poor schools during their monthly cycles. It is estimated that an average poor girl in South Africa may miss up to 50 days of school annually due to menstrual related challenges. This may add up to almost a year in their school career!
I personally want to raise $6,700. I hope you all believe in this important mission that no one ever speaks about. Please contribute even if it's $5, $10, etc. Click on the link to help this cause! Thank you so much!
