Thirty-four-year-old Inga Bailey lives in Lunenburg and has been riding on and off for the past 9-10 years. Phinney’s Ride will be her first official charity ride. This will also be her first time cycling competitively; she usually cycles for recreation and exercise with her husband and son. Inga has always enjoyed the freedom that comes with cycling, and she has enjoyed cycling with her husband in the various east coast states where she has lived. One of her favorite riding areas has been Gambril State Park in MD and in Windsor, CT. Inga and her husband frequently include their son in their Co-Pilot cart on their rides. They look forward to when he can ride a road bike himself. When she’s not cycling, Inga enjoys spending time with her family and friends, playing with her son, and running. She and her family have one pet—a very social Abyssinian cross that they adopted from the Lowell Humane Society. Though she had not heard of Phinney’s Friends before she started her current position at Hudson Animal Hospital, she has been very impressed by the organization and its dedication to providing all funds to those individuals who need it. Inga gives a special thanks to all the Phinney’s Friends volunteers.
