Andres "Handy Andy" Espinoza, born in Mexico, was a robotics electrician at Ford Motor Company's Woodhaven Stamping Plant in Woodhaven, Michigan, where he retired after 23 years. His favorite pastime activities included fishing and golf. In 2003, he won two gold medals in the Downriver Senior Olympics (Golf Best Ball Scramble and Golf Longest Drive) in Metro Detroit. He held an Electrical Contractor and a Master Electrician license, and was never afraid of taking on large home repairs, including expanding the second floor of his Southgate, Michigan home and helping with renovations and repairs to the homes of many family and friends. He quietly fought a difficult battle with stomach cancer, even then maintaining his independence because he did not want to burden others. He had a big heart and a "tell it like it is" attitude. He always encouraged greatness in his family and would do anything for them. Andres is survived by four children, five grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
