BENEFITING: The Multiple System Atrophy Coalition
When John Tsioles was diagnosed with Multiple System Atrophy (MSA), he was devastated to learn that there is no cure or treatment for the disease. This rare neurological disease is quite debilitating for all those diagnosed with it. For John, it meant that he could no longer enjoy his passions, including golf and fishing, and especially playing with his grandchildren. John's spirit remained strong throughout his illness and he fought MSA with dignity and courage.
With this fundraiser, our goal is to keep John's memory alive and give hope to those diagnosed with this horrible disease. Without research, treatment options and a cure will not be found. All funds will go to The MSA Coalition. This is an organization whose mission is support, education, research and advocacy. These are important because MSA is so rare (affecting approximately 50,000 Americans) that few patients, prior to diagnosis and few physicians have any knowledge of the disease. We greatly appreciate and thank all those that have already donated to this cause during John's memorial service. Those donations have been entered as "Offline Donation". THANK YOU for your donation to the MSA Coalition and your continued thoughts and prayers!
