Injured Stray Lab Needs Help With Medical
Organized by: Lisa Mosteller
This female stray lab was struck by a car on Hwy 62 in Ft Gibson, OK on July 10, 2015. She suffered massive breaks of her right front limb, requiring surgery with rods, pins, and bone grafts. She has been in a cast for about 2 weeks now. She will need to wear it for another 8 - 10 weeks. She is receiving aftercare from the surgeon who performed the surgery. Following cast removal, she will need physical therapy. Her surgery was paid for through donations, with the exception of $250. We are in desperate need to raise enough to pay the balance of her surgery and for aftercare & physical therapy. She appears to be a purebred yellow Labrador retriever, approximately 1.5 a 2 y/o. She is spayed. After healing, she will be networked through our animal rescue, for adoption. Please help us to help her! Your kindness is so very appreciated!
