BENEFITING: American Red Cross
In Loving Memory and Celebration of Frank Andrus - 1922-2013
Died: December 6, 2013
A loving Brother, Husband, Father and Grandfather
He served in the Third Division Marines in the Pacific Theater (Battles of Guam, Guadalcanal and Iwo Jima). Upon return he worked in the electronics and aviation industry in Connecticut until his retirement in 1987. He resided in Dallas, GA until his passing.
He is survived by his sister Julie Adams, CT, his sister-in-law Dorothy Connolly, Dallas, GA, his two sons and daughter-in-laws Jim and Joyce Andrus of Eureka, MO and David and D.J. Andrus of Acworth, GA and his grandchildren - Sam, Beth and Jen of Acworth, GA as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was a great man that will be missed very much by his family and all that knew him.
During the last years of his life he required frequent blood transfusions that allowed him to stay strong and be with his family. If it were not for the Blood Services of the American Red Cross this wouldn't of been possible. In lieu of flowers we request anyone wishing to honor the memory of Frank Andrus to please donate to the American Red Cross.
Thank you to everyone for their love and support - The family of Frank J. Andrus
