The Inn, with the community and other service providers, expands possibilities and opportunitiesfor youth and their families. The Inn develops the whole person through strength based programsfocusing on life skills development, life experiences, family and responsibility. Our programs are designed to b e individualized offering services crafted to enhance partnerships with youth, family and communities.
One of The Inn Home’s programs, Powerhouse Mentoring Program, provides one-on-one community-based mentoring for Multnomah County youth, ages 13-21, in the foster care system. Youth who are matched with a Powerhouse mentor spend at least 10 hours a month in contact with their mentor for a minimum of one year. Mentors are supported by a Mentor Match Case Manager who is a licensed social worker with extensive experience working with foster youth.
