BENEFITING: FAITH COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTER INC
Help support Nate Tasker, a College of the Ozarks senior, complete his internship requirements by working with Faith Community Health to raise awareness of the medical, dental, and vision services offered to make health care affordable to low income families and individuals working and living in the Branson area. The tourism industry in Branson requires thousands of seasonal and minimum wage employees to serve the millions of visitors coming here each year. Many of these employees have no health insurance. Faith Community Health exists to provide affordable low cost medical services to ensure that quality medical care is available to those who need it. The situation: Faith Community Health had a need to make more people aware of their services. Nate Tasker had a need to complete his college internship. He needed to complete 6 weeks to earn his degree. They found a way to work together. Faith Community Health developed marketing materials and needed someone to go door to door, visiting area businesses to let them know about the medical services available to their employees. They agreed to hire Nate for 3 weeks, all they could afford within their budget. That's where you come in! Nate and FCH agreed to appeal to their friends and supporters to try to raise $1,250, enough to cover the other 3 weeks of expenses to put Nate to work telling Branson area businesses about the medical services available to their employees at Faith Community Health. It's a win - win - win - win! Nate gets the support needed to finish his internship requirements. FCH gets the word out to new workers in Stone and Taney counties about their services. Employees are able to take care of their health needs at affordable rates. And employers have a healthy workforce to help make Branson shine for visitors! Faith Community Health is a 501(c)(3) organization so your donation is tax deductible! Thank you for helping Nate, and thank you for helping make affordable health care available to thousands of people in the Branson area each year. God bless you!
