“Interview with the Prince” A Feature Film by Kenny Rogers
Organized by: Kenny Rogers
I am a writer/filmmaker. I have been allowed to create an entertaining way to teach with the production of a feature length film “Interview with the Prince”. I believe, not only is the film encouraging but also the production process. You don’t have to be a filmmaker to be inspired by the movie or the production story.
Alone, I performed every production task from writing, preproduction, casting, set design, filming, acting, editing and creating the artwork, along with many other tasks. Once the world is able to see the quality of the production, I believe filmmakers and non-filmmakers will be inspired to use what they have and do more with less.
A person can know with confidence they are at the door to the next level when the final option is to scream “HELP!” That’s where I am. I have truly given everything I have to this production. And without kidding myself “Interview with the Prince” is a solid movie. Nonetheless, at this point, it is hard to move up and on without help.
With this fundraiser I will be able to: market more effectively, organize a premiere party for my cast and finical contributors and most importantly, set up mass DVD distribution. I hope to do a large premiere/release event in October, 2014.
This isn’t just about the story but the WHOLE story. “I” was used 13 times in this dialog, that is 13 times more than “I” like to use. But this isn’t about me, it’s about being a beacon of hope. With your help I will be able to continue to create inspiring films while giving opportunities to others. Along the way I can be an example of being the “opportunity” instead of just looking for one. By the way, my next film is ready to go, the title is “More Than My Father’s Eyes.” The actor I have on my wish list to play the lead character “Dean Richardson” is the amazing Edward Norton.
Thank you for your help!
