Our annual Mr. Robbins Neighborhood Spring Fundraiser will be a Casino Night at the New World Inn on Friday, May 4, 2018. The Casino Night Fundraiser will feature blackjack tables, roulette and craps games, mouth-watering appetizers, a fully stocked bar, auction, and other opportunities to give back and have fun! FAQs Attire: Cocktail  Who does the Casino night benefit? The Casino Night is for the benefit of Mr. Robbins Neighborhood, a private nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization that is dedicated to inspiring youth athletes on and off the playing field through education, training, career exploration, and mentorship. Proceeds from our Casino Night Fundraiser will help support the vital work that MRN develops for the youth of the Gulf Coast. Last year's event raised nearly $50,000 for MRN. Our goal is to do even better this year! How does the Casino Night work? For our Casino Night event, you donate money (to benefit MRN) and receive chips to play. Games will include blackjack, craps, and roulette. At the end of the evening, the person(s) with the most tickets is eligible for our prize packs. Prizes will be awarded at the end of the evening. What if I am not the gambling type? This is an event with something for everyone. There will be great food, great drinks, great music and great company. In addition to gaming, there will be a fabulous live auction with three exclusive packages to choose from and bid on. If you do not know how to play any of the games, our dealers will be more than happy to help explain the rules. Everyone will have a lot of fun, that is guaranteed. What do I get with my ticket?  Each ticket gets you access to the casino night, auction, and reception areas, which will have hors d'oeuvres, desserts, plus $1,000 in chips to get the evening started. Doors will open at  6:30 p.m. After check-in, you will be able to go to the casino night floor, mingle with the other guests, and grab some food or drinks at the bar. The casino night officially begins at 7:00 p.m. The auction and program will kick off at approximately 8:00 pm, and the casino night will end at 11:15 p.m. The raffle winners will be chosen shortly after the close of the casino night. Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event? Participants must be 21 or older to attend. What is the dress/attire for the evening? You cannot go wrong with business casual. If you dress as if you are going to go to a real casino, you will neither be overdressed or underdressed.  Where can I contact the organizer with any questions? Contact Jayde Herman ( Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event? No, all registrants will be on a list at the registration table when you check-in that night. What is the refund policy? There are no refunds for this event. However, in the event that you purchase a ticket and cannot attend, the entire ticket price should be tax deductible. Your tax professional will be able to provide you specific advice with regard to your situation.
