THE STORY:

My husband and I married in August 2003. In March of 2004 we were so happy to announce we were going to be expecting!! :) But unfortunately we received bad new the following month. We went to the doctor to be advised that the baby was not forming and that I would have a miscarriage. Like an expecting couple we were devastated! A month later things were still not looking good. After 3 DNC's with in 1 month we were advised that I had what they call a "Molar Pregnancy" also know as "Gestational Trophoblastic Disease" (GTD). This is something that 1 and 1,500 women with early pregnancy has a Molar Pregnancy. It is where the baby doesn't develop into a fetus but continues to grow. I was a NIGHTMARE!! We could not believe that having a baby could cause "Cancer". So, I had to start Chemo and put or dream of having a child on hold. After Chemo we tried again only to have 2 more miscarriages and then a tubal pregnancy that ended up rupturing and I having internal bleeding. Had to have surgery and they had to remove the tube. Cause of endometriosis when I was younger they had to remove my other tube. So, now we are at the point we can not have kids. BUT, thank goodness for technology and advance science we were able to do Invitro and we have a baby girl. We had to sell out land to be able to do this, so now we rent. I am okay with that! We have one more chance and this is where I am asking for HELP. We have one egg left to try to make our family complete. I am asking for any help you can give. You can also call Shady Grove Fertility 703-680-1770 and make a donation under my name (Misty Haymaker) so you know where the money is going. I would like to thank everyone for taking the time to read our story and sharing also. Thank you so much!
