BENEFITING: AUTISM TREE PROJECT INC
EVENT DATE: Jun 01, 2014
My Mom Patricia adopted my little sister Hanna from an orphanage in China when she was 11 months old...she is now 17 and growing up with her in NY I know first hand how hard this can be on a family. In honor of her I wanted to start stepping up for Autism.
Will you help me???
I am raising awareness and money for Autism. The money that I raise here will go directly to The Autism Tree Project Foundation Founded in 2003 Autism Tree Project Foundation (ATPF) is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to improving communities in San Diego County and The Bay Area by assisting with education, advocacy, screening and mentoring for families impacted by autism.
More than 1,500 youth and families participate in annual activities.
We now screen over 1,900 youth annually with 6,954 preschoolers screened to date since 2006.
ATPF’s Youth Education and Developmental Services coordinates a variety of intensive programs designed to engage youth with autism in a variety of services, aimed at improving their confidence and behaviors, plus improving their social communications.
I dont have the words to describe how much this means to me #iRun4Hanna
