Meet GMI Fellow: Pastor Désiré Kajabika. He is committed to seeing the church reach all of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) – including the men. He has recently been accepted as a GMI Fellow. During his fellowship, he will be studying how men in eastern Congo see the churches their wives attend. The goal of the research is to identify what new strategy God wants the Church in DRC to use to approach men, bring more of them into the church and impact the kingdom.
Pastor Kajabika works with Evangelical Harvest Ministry (EHM). Through the training of churches leaders and children, EHM wants a new society that is able to transform the whole community and bring the kingdom of God in our society of tomorrow by giving hope to the more desperate in the actual society. This will allow the expansion of the Gospel worldwide.
- Length: 1 month
- Key Activities: Have strategic conversations with about a dozen men who do not come to the church in which their wives are involved in order to grasp their perspectives on the church.
- Prayer Request: God's direction to the right people for gaining wisdom into the project's goal.
