Isaac's Wisconsin Ambassadors of Music European Tour
Organized by: James Brust
EVENT DATE Jan 01, 2016
I’ve been invited by the Wisconsin Ambassadors of Music to go on a tour of Europe singing with a group in 7 different countries in the summer of 2016. To be eligible you need to be nominated by your choir or band teacher. I feel very proud that I was selected. I’m extremely excited to have this opportunity, I’ve always wanted to go to another country and I’m really passionate about music and want to get the chance to sing for people around the world on behalf of our country and our state. The only catch is that my family and I don’t have the kind of money it will take to get me there so I am counting on donations from caring and generous people like you!
A little about me.
I started singing in a group at my elementary school in 4th grade. Called G group. We sang at nursing homes, other schools and even our Capital Building in Madison Wisconsin. Then in 7th grade I joined the middle school musical Annie Get your Gun and I got the part of Little Jake. It was a fun experience and made me more interested in musicals and theatre. In 8th grade I was in the musical White Christmas and played a variety of roles.
My Freshman Year in High School I really got involved in theatre and music. I played two parts in Romeo & Juliet, I was in the musical, The Secret Garden and was in a variety of numbers in our Cabaret show titled "Shelf Life". Going into my Sophomore year of high school, I’m going to try out for every performance again, and I’m also involved in almost every extracurricular choir, such as Chamber Singers, Pop Acapella, and I'm also a few miscellaneous clubs, like video club and environmental club. I am also currently learning to play the guitar.
If you can help in any way any donations are appreciated.
