Israel Study Trip

3 Weeks Away!
April 30, 2017
Our roots are important. Family roots, educational roots, pop culture roots, you name it. This 3-week study trip in the nation of Israel is a piece of my plan for traveling to and learning more deeply about the religious roots of my Christian faith and how it relates to its religious predecessor, Judaism.
On this trip coordinated by the Center for Holy Lands Studies, I-as a student of Evangel University in Springfield, MO-will study under current professors of mine who have expertise in early Judaism and Christian Origins (Wave Nunnally, PH.D. of Evangel University) and learn alongside my classmates, college peers, and a number of other students, educators, ministers, laypeople, etc. from around the US.
Personally, Jesus of Nazareth will be the true driving force of my desire to experience this trip and further my knowledge, as he is the reason for Christianity existing. This is not a missions or service trip, but rather an intellectual expansion of the things I have been taught and studied on my own my whole life.
