BENEFITING: KYLE PEASE FOUNDATION INC
EVENT DATE: Mar 20, 2016
This ITL's 2nd year supporting the Kyle Pease Foundation for the Georgia Publix Half Marathon. Last year we had 3 of our ladies, Jaclyn, Krystle, and Heather raise funds and run the race with, Katy Freesman. a KPF athlete. It was a big success. The Kyle Pease Foundation supports inclusion. Their mission is to raise awareness and funds for physically challenged athletes and meet their needs through sports. Kyle and Brent are local to Atlanta and have made a significant impact on the endurance community with their slogan, "Where there is a wheel there is a way." This year, Jodi Sindelar and Krystle Andrews will be assisting Katy Freesman again. Katy has become a part of the ITL family. Krystle has pushed Katy in several races, including the Marine Corps Marathon, and our local Lakeside 5k! Ryan, Katy's father is a close friend, he says Katy laughs and smiles more during race than any other time. This will be Jodi's first KPF race, but she is also closely tied to children everyday. Jodi is a PA for Children's Healthcare, and the mother of 3 young boys. Jodi is excited about her first race with Katy and has been training hard to make sure those laughs are super loud! ITL is asking you to help us meet the minimum fund raising amount. We are hoping to reach the goal amount by Saturday, March 13th, one week prior to the race. Please help us support the mission and allow these athletes to cross more finish lines in the future.
