For over four decades, Women’s Clinic and Family Counseling Center provided high-quality, low cost or free medical and counseling services. When State & Federal funding was cut by 30%, our 43 year-old medical program was no longer sustainable, and on October 23, 2015 medical services ended.
Our counseling staff immediately rallied to ensure that our client's care and our clinical training program would not be interrupted.
Our counseling program is now functioning independently for the first time in its history.
On October 24th we moved into our new, lower cost space--it's warm, welcoming, and easily accessible. This new home provides an efficient space for fourteen highly trained Marriage and Family Therapy Trainees and Interns to offer over 300 sessions a month with psychotherapy clients.
We do not receive government funding, and while we collect a fee from everyone who receives services, those fees do not cover the costs of operating.
We invite you to join us in this opportunity to support a vital, low-cost mental health service.
Take it a step further and challenge your friends to match your donation.
Thank you for all you do to support, strengthen and sustain a healthier, more productive community for us all.
Your gift, no matter the size, will matter!
