Let's Get Started!
July 01, 2016
The Jacksonville Humane Society, together with our partners, helped the city of Jacksonville become one of the largest no kill communities in the United States. Since 2014, more than 90% of animals citywide make it out of the shelters alive. In order to stay no kill, we must focus on animals in high risk populations, specifically underage kittens and puppies. With funds from the Saving Pets Challenge, we will continue our lifesaving work in Kitten University, our neonatal kitten nursery, and our foster program, which help save more than 2,000 underage puppies and kittens. Donations will help us provide medical care, lifesaving supplies such as milk replacement formula, and provide our dedicated fosters with the tools needed to care for each precious life. Together, with your help, we can ensure that the youngest and most vulnerable animals in our community will be given a chance at life.
