From Kathy Prindle: Jacob passed out yesterday afternoon and was taken to St. Luke's. He was then sent by Life Flight to SLC because of swelling on his brain. A cat scan revealed that there were two blockages in his brain. We are all just so sad, but hopeful. Last night was looking grim for Jacob, but today, the doctors in Salt Lake have given us better news. Jake suffered a rare stroke for someone his age. There will be a lot of therapy- physically and for speech. He is tough though and we know in our hearts that he will pull through.
On behalf of the Mountain View High School Football community, we are asking for donations to help ease what will be a large financial burden and a long road of healing for Jacob Prindle. Jacob is a strong soul who loves football and is always willing to play hard for his football family. His smile is infectious and his strong spirit will prevail during this very difficult time. Any amount helps to help off-set the medical and recovery expenses for Jacob. Please keep Jacob and his family in your prayers and thoughts.
I started the goal at $5,000, but in all honesty, I think we can blow it out of the water! Small donations help just as much as the large ones- they all add up!
Thank you so much for your support as we eagerly await good news about his recovery process. I will keep everyone posted as I receive news from his parents.
