Jacob's tuition costs
Organized by: Jacob Jung
I am an international student studying in the U.S. At first, tuition did not seem like such a big problem. But as time went by, I realized that it's more than a problem. My parents are not officially employed. They are missionaries in Cambodia working hard to provide the local disabled with new prosthetic legs. Cambodia has experienced a lot of hurt from foreign powers and civil wars. Therefore, they also have a lot of mines meaning lots of amputees. I am a sophomore studying Secondary Education and History. I am convinced to become a teacher to teach my students that you should be responsible for your actions. History has lots of morals and teachings that I would like to show to students as a person who has experienced various cultures (Korean, American, Uzbek, and Cambodian). In order for me to do that, I need to be able to continue my studies. Through your donations, I will be able to finish my education and be able to give others an education that they deserve. Thank you!
