Thank you for visiting Jaeger's (German for "hunter") Fundraising Page!
My name is John and I am an Army Veteran with 2 tours in Iraq that left me with a seizure disorder, as well as mobility issues, and while I don't let these conditions define who I am as a person, I have accepted that they will be with me for the rest of my life. After spending time with Lu and the ECAD Staff it became clear that a Service Dog would be a huge benefit for me and my family. I am fundraising to help offset the costs ECAD incurred training Jaeger specifically for me. While the costs of breeding and training are $ 25,000.00, ECAD provides these dogs to the recipient with a simple promise of raising funds. Jaeger has been specially trained to recognize and alert me when a seizure is about to occur, prompting me to take my meds and get to a safe area. This has been a huge blessing!
Thank you for taking the time to visit the fundraising page and learning a bit about me. I greatly appreciate your donation and for sharing this information with others who may also want to contribute. ECAD is a not-for-profit organization that breeds, trains and provides Service Dogs for people from all walks of life who need this very special type of support.
