We are a non-profit founded in Arizona. We have a website (jailbirdbooks.com) where families can get books for free shipped free to their friends who are in jail/prison. Cost of shipping and maintaining site is getting hard to do and we need help. Reading inside helps people not only improve or learn to read but helps keep that person from getting involved in the trouble that goes on. By improving or learning to read they feel like they have accomplished something, which they have.It is better to come out of there with an improvement in personal satisfaction, than to come out with nothing but a criminal thought process. Improving themselves leads to them looking for jobs and following societies rules etc. which is better for everyone.
